Heathmont Haven - Sustainable House Day 2024
This beautiful home was built with the future in mind – flexible for its residents in design, and with energy and water efficiency built in. Designed using solar passive principles, it uses a heat exchange ventilation system in conjunction with ceiling fans and heat pump heating, and the 10kW solar system is battery-ready. Adjacent to the Dandenong Creek reserve, it's surrounded by indigenous plantings, vegetables beds and chooks.
