Nook On The Hill - Sustainable House Day 2024
Situated in Western Victoria, the designer-builder of this tiny home favoured recycled materials in the construction, and took a fluid approach to sustainability and design as the build progressed. A grid connected 4.5kw/h solar system supplies half of the house’s electricity, and energy efficient heat pumps for hot water and heating as required, and good insulation is complemented by double glazed windows. This beautiful retreat is surrounded by native plants.
