The Demerara Dry Float is one of the most iconic Don the Beachcomber drinks to me, and my favorite offering from Smuggler's Cove. The drink is tart, with a whopping 2 oz of lime juice and a mysterious teaspoon of lemon juice. Compound that with a heavy dose of tangy passion fruit juice and the tartness has nowhere to hide. But, that's why I like it. It's different. It's sweet, tangy, and rummy. The flavors are not overly complex and the additional rum float allows you to dial in the Demerara Dry Float to your preference.

¼ oz demerara syrup (7.5 ml)
¼ oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur (7.5 ml)
1 ½ oz El Dorado 8 (45 ml)
