Rosie and Grant's House - Sustainable House Day 2024
Retrofitting a 1970s brick veneer house in the leafy Nillumbik hills in outer Melbourne meant replacing the roof and insulating on the outside and recladding to achieve a higher energy rating and year-round comfort level. Proving that you don’t have to undertake major renovations to achieve greater air flow, light and comfort, this house has also taken itself off gas and has a high annual energy savings drawing on all-electric appliances and solar PV.
