In this video we look at how to control breaths in a vocal production. Prior to the mix, I ALWAYS take a look at those breaths because regardless of how high quality the recording, there will always be breaths to control. If you don't tame 'em down at the beginning, they will really pop out at you later down the line in the mix when using compression. Don't skip this step and I hope this streamlined process helps you get the best results quickly. Also, there are plugins you can waste money on to do this, but they will never be as accurate as doing it manually. The more you practice this, the quicker you will get. Let me know any questions.
