Mixing Acoustic Guitar - EQ (Equalization)
So you've recorded the acoustic guitar and have the perfect take, but it sounds dull and lifeless...next step is to EQ (equalize) that guitar to sound crisp and clear and free of any muddiness or unwanted frequencies. In this video, I will show you how to EQ an acoustic guitar to assure you have a good starting point for a professional sounding recording.
I use ableton in this tutorial, but you can use any DAW you like and apply the same techniques.
