Using YouTube's Video Editor to Solve Unique Issues
I use Linux, Ubuntu Studio, KDENLive video editor and Record My Desktop for many of my videos. While Record My Desktop should work with KDENLive, I have not had the good fortune of having it work at all.
However, Record My Desktop works perfectly in uploading to YouTube, and I can create my Title in KDENLive.
After uploading the clips that work, I can then simply edit the video together with the simple to use YouTube video editor and have a great video on the back end.
So - if you are having issues in any operating system, but can create the individual clips, and upload those to YouTube, you can then edit those together with the YouTube Editor to solve (or avoid!) unique editing issues.
