Reverse Roundabout Intersection
This interchange started life as a previous interchange of mine ( • Celtic-Cross-Road ) that used a roundabout, but then thanks to a suggestion from an intersection head (me22ca) I thought I'd see if it could make it work with a roundabout that went the opposite way to a regular roundabout (clockwise instead of the usual counter-clockwise). And it seems to work pretty well. Thanks to the right turning slip lanes, traffic only use the roundabout if they are turning left (or making a U-turn) and because the roundabout runs the opposite way, traffic does not have to go as far.
As a Cities:Skylines asset I've added it to the Steam Workshop (link below) so anybody can download, modify and use it. It requires the Mass Transit DLC for the 2-lane and 4-lane highways. No mods are required, but as with any roundabouts, TM:PE is recommended.
