Kek lapis Prune
500g / 900g Dried pitted prunes
Ingredients: sift
140g Hong Kong flour
30g strawberry ice cream powder or skimmed milk
1 tsp baking powder (double action)
1/2 tsp lapis spice (Lapis rempah)
Ingredients: A
550g Anchor butter
3 tbsp F&N condensed milk
2 tsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp golden syrup
Ingredients : B
6 cold egg whites
20 cold egg yolks
200g castor sugar
1 tbsp ovalette (full)
Note: Rotate cake tin in the oven to cook evenly or brown on all sides at the end of baking
Double the recipe to make 2 Lapis Cakes - Use 2 baking pans size 8" x 8" baking pan (20 layers)
