Math Skills for Chemistry 6 Week Summer Class
In my MANY years teaching high school chemistry, I can say without reservation that when students struggle in chemistry, it's not with the science, it's with the MATH.
That's why for the second year in a row, I'm offering a 6 week Math Skills for Chemistry class.
We will meet online for one hour each week for 6 weeks to focus on a particular skill students will need to use in chemistry.
We will cover: significant figures, scientific notation, temperature conversion, unit conversion (dimensional analysis), working with exponents, rearranging chemical formulas, and more.
All live class sessions are recorded in case students miss a class due to travel or illness.
In this video, I give examples of the types of problems your student will encounter in chemistry so that you can gauge whether they could benefit from the summer session.
