Valence Electrons, the Octet Rule, and Lewis Structures
A friend who teaches chemistry in a homeschool co-op setting needed help understanding how to use the periodic table to determine the number of valence electrons in an atom. She also wanted to know more about the Octet Rule and how to draw and use Lewis structures. This video helped her, and I hope it may help others too.
