Do you have students taking chemistry this upcoming year?
Are they ready for the math involved?
As any chemistry teacher will tell you, when students struggle in chemistry, they aren't struggling with the chemistry. They're struggling with the math.
For the 3rd year in a row, I'm offering my 6 week MATH SKILLS FOR CHEMISTRY summer class.
For one hour a week, students join me for a live, interactive online class during which we review the math skills all students will need to understand to succeed in their full-year chemistry class, no matter what textbook or curriculum they will be using.
We review:
*significant digits
*scientific notation
*calculations with numbers containing exponents
using scientific calculators
*unit conversions (dimensional analysis)
*rearranging chemical formulas
Students will have ample practice with these skills both during class and with the practice problems I give them between classes.
Classes are recorded and are available for students who miss class due to work, travel, or illness.
Students who take my MATH SKILLS FOR CHEMISTRY summer class come back to tell me that the course helped them immensely in their year-long classes.
But time is running out to enroll! The class starts NEXT WEEK (Wednesday, June 7th)
And right now, when you enroll in my Math Skills for Chemistry summer class, you can enroll in a second True North Homeschool Academy class for free! That's because through June 5th, all True North Homeschool Academy summer classes are BOGO!
