[3RD HARDEST, 1ST IN SG] Spectrum Cyclone 100% - Geometry Dash (Extreme Demon)
This is single-handedly the best level I have ever played in the entirety of my GD journey.
I have always wanted to do this level since like early 2022 but I never really got around to fully committing to the level, mainly due to my skill issue. It was meant to be my new hardest post-SW, then my 2nd hardest post-bloodlust, and uh yeah here we are at 3rd hardest post-zodiac.
Every single part plays flawlessly. No part in the level feels chokepoint-y or poorly made at all. I literally have 0 complaints and an endless amount of compliments for this level - from perfect sync to the most fun gameplay I have ever experienced. Learning the level was of course abit tough and getting it's consistency was certainly even tougher. However, finally pulling it off feels so good - I can't even describe it. The decoration for its time is amazing too. The rainbow-setting complements the euphoria from the gameplay perfectly. The difficulty of the level feels mostly the same too, though for me the first wave was impossible even till the end lol.
While every part to me is practically flawless, some parts were still noticeably more well-made than others. The biggest standout to me is the last dual. It is so perfectly synced and unfathomably satisfying to pull off every time. The pre-drop UFO is also unbelievably incredible with basically perfect sync taps and amazing satisfaction from pulling it off. Another part that deserves a shoutout is the UFO-spider dual at 55%, which is flawlessly synced to the song. On the flip side, I can't really find any part that is my least favourite so I don't really know what to put there lol (if I had to I'd be the first cube ig??)
With everything said, despite its difficulty (harder than the whole RGB lol), this level has to be the best Extreme Demon, nay, the best level I have ever touched in this game. The exhilaration from the parts and the sheer euphoria from playing it is something I will never forget. Both Artificial Ascent and Retention have been dethroned by this level (and by a long shot) as my new favourite Extreme Demon beaten. I doubt anything will ever dethrone this level in terms of my enjoyment for the level.
Overall, an absolute masterpiece of a level that I doubt will ever be dethroned as the best level in the game.
*On a side note, yeah I'm doing fine in NS as of writing this (post-BMT POP but pre-medic POP), though I have no clue how bad my life is gonna be after my medic course ends in late November. If my schedule deteriorates then obviously don't expect too much from me hehe
