[1ST SINGAPORE RGB VICTOR!] Erebus 100% - Geometry Dash (Extreme Demon)
Ladies and gentlemen, we have my newest least favourite extreme of all time.
The sole reason I went for this in the first place is to finish up the RGB, which was in itself a tedious task. The only level I truly wanted to beat since 2020 was Sonic Wave, and I beat that in August 2021. I wanted to try out Yatagarasu too since it is a legendary level too. Turns out that was a small mistake, since I lost quite a lot of motivation from GD purely based on my experience with Yatagarasu. Yet, somehow, someway, I knew that the final level in the RGB shopping cart would be the worst experience for me out of the three. But, holy hell, I didn't expect it to be my new least favourite Extreme Demon wtf
No inch of gameplay in the entire level makes sense at all. NONE. The best part in the level for me is shockingly the impossible cube part at 40%. It was so satisfying to pull off and it's the only reason it was fun for me. It wasn't playable at all and it was basically the toughest part of the level (and remind you, this was my favourite part). Holy crap I don't even wanna begin on how garbage the mini robot/cube part is at 20%. It is pure unadulterated luck to pass it each time, alongside the worst and least playable gameplay in the entire level. Nothing felt consistent in that part too. And the worst part is that I often immediately die to the horrendous straight fly directly after that rubbish because EVERY STRIAGHT FLY HAD AN INVISIBLE PLATFORM FOR THE SHIP TO REST ON WHY IS THIS A THING I DONT GET IT ; - ;
The deco in my eyes is not great but definitely fine for its time. I just don't understand why Rustam would ever insert a shroud of black-coloured lines and shit in an already not-very-visible and not-very-good memory part at 50%. Genuinely the only deco issue I have for this level tbh.
The very start of the level gets kinda consistent, but honestly the gameplay still sucks ass in this section too. The build-up is also fine as aforementioned, but the UFO is kinda weird imo. The drop is honestly super consistent but as I said before the gameplay isn't good at all. Every single part, I kid you not, has some sort of stupid yeeass bug that pops outta nowhere. The hitboxes in this level are deceivingly unforgivable too for some reason.
I hated every second of the level. Every attempt was tremendously boring and frustrating to die at over and over and over. I did not enjoy anything the level had to offer at all. I was so mad and unhinged on one day that I wanted to drop the level and GD altogether (again xd). You can find that one fine day on Ninjacat9000's channel (refer to Media 4 below).
Overall, please just avoid this level at all costs unless you're going for the RGB. It is a joke of a level and arguably one of the worst levels I have ever played. Just for the love of god don't call it the best level in the RGB holy crap
