0:10 Hello everyone and welcome to Ngage Tech Tips. This is Kyle and today we're going to be going over how to search through comment in Microsoft Office's Excel 2016.
0:19 All right so the first thing we're going to need to do is open up Excel, easiest way to do that is just press your Windows key and type Excel. Blank workbook, so if you right-click here we can actually insert comments. Ok, Let's see here.
0:56 Now that we have this setup we can actually open our find you can open it right here but you can also just use CTRL+F which I find to be much easier myself. So CTRL + F and we're going to open Options, now here you can see we're going to look within this first sheet, go row by row but right now we're looking in formulas. We need to change that so we'll look in comments. So what are we looking for? We're looking for comment 2.
1:25 You can actually type out comment 2 but I know this is going to be the only thing thats going to have a 2 in it therefore I'm just going to simply look for 2. So we're going to do Find Next. This brings us directly to that cell. However, to see the comment, we actually have to hover over it, and then if you'd like to change it once again simply come down here to edit comment and there you are.
1:51 And you can make this as large or as small as you need to though I doubt you're going to have a huge thing of text there but, that's it.
