0:10 Hello everyone and welcome to Ngage Tech Tips, this is Kyle. Today we're going to be going over how to change the currency symbol for certain cells within Excel.
0:21 First thing we're going to need to do is open up Excel. Ok now Ialready have a book created for the demonstration. This is random exchange rate, I just kind of made this up off the top of my head, so we're going to go from there.
0:43 We need to change these cells here to currency we have items 1 through 3 dollars and euros. So the first thing we're going to do is we're going to highlight these, come over here to General, set these to currency. Now as you can see we have dollars and we have euros however these have not been changed to euros yet, so.
1:04 Same thing here, we're going to highlight, this time we're going to come right over here to number format drop down and you should see here we have symbol. Just about all the types of currency you could want, we are looking for... Euro 123.
1:25 As you can see you can put it in front or behind, we're going to go ahead and put it to the left, so we hit ok. And now we have a euro symbol for all these.
