How to create a new RGB File in Adobe Illustrator
Lesson 1
To create a new document in Illustrator go to File - New
In the pop up window you can choose from various templates or create a document exactly how you want it. Here you can set up the following:
1. Name your document
2. Choose the measurement unit (inches, px etc.)
3. Document size
4. Number of Artboards and their orientation (portrait or landscape)
5. Bleed (in case of documents for digital work you never need it)
6. Color Mode (RGB is best for digital work, use it if your design is supposed to be displayed on any kind of screen)
7. Raster Effects Resolution (72ppi is enough if you don't plan to print your design)
8. More Settings:
Choose how you want to arrange the artboards in your Illustrator file
Space between the Artboards
Hit the CREATE button!
Congratulations, now you have your first Illustrator RGB File :)
