When the Windows PC is put into the hibernation mode, the Windows saves its current state (all opened apps and documents will remain opened) and the PC will be powered off. When the PC is powered on, all files and apps that you remained opened before putting your PC into the hibernation mode will be restored. This process is time-saving when you don't want to close your various opened files and documents but want to straight away power off your PC. Follow the following steps in order to enable the hibernation option in your Windows 10 PC:-
1. Click on the Start button and click on "Settings".
2. The "Settings" window will be opened. In this window, click on "System".
3. Navigate to "Power & sleep" in the left pane.
4. In the "Related settings" section, click on "Additional power settings".
5. In the left pane, click on "Choose what the power buttons do".
6. Click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable".
7. In the "Shutdown settings" section, enable the option of "Hibernate". Click on "Save changes".
Now to check whether the hibernation option is enabled or not, click on the Start button and click on "Power". You will see that the hibernation option has been successfully added to your Windows 10 PC.
