How to Change Storage Locations in Windows 10
If you don't like the default storage location for your documents, music, picture and video files, than we will show you in our tutorial, how you can change the storage location of these files on your Windows 10 PC. This process will be useful for those users, who have low space in the default storage location. Just carefully follow the following steps:-
1. Click on the Start button and click on "Settings".
2. The "Settings" window will be opened. In this window, click on "System".
3. Navigate to "Storage" in the left pane.
4. In the "Save locations" section, you can now change the default storage location of your apps, documents, music, picture and video files. For e.g. if you want to change the storage location of your new documents, from the drop down menu of "New documents will save to:", choose and click on the storage location of your own choice. Once chosen, click on the "Apply" button.
Now your new documents will be saved to your chosen storage location.
