In this oil painting instruction video , I show you What Brushes I use and how to use oil painting brushes and I show you how to sett up the palette with new oil colors for a new painting sesion and what oil paint I use and why. I also explane how i think and how I mix the oil colors .I do also explane how i mix skin tones in this video so pay atention !! ;)

I am a Norwegian artist and painter that creates youtbe videos about how to make oil painting . on this channel i manly focus on oil paint and how to use brushes , oil painting medium , oil colors , how to mix oil paint , how to use the palette :)
All my paintings is done freehand and with mainly old holand paint
My Focus as an Artist and painter is the paint itself and the aesthetics that evolves wile I transfer the motif on to the canvas. I am not a conceptual artist and my driving force for doing paintings is the personal challenge painting figurative gives me. As a painter with Artists like Rembrandt Turner Leonardo da Vinci and Jan Vermeer as my objective standard I will always have to push myself to get better In painting is where it get personal for me and where I reflect in results how successfully I have used my time and in the end my short existence in this infinite universe and time.
