In this Oil painting lesson I paint a girl in a green dress , i also show you how to use the palette how to mix oil paint , how to paint a small face and portrait.
In the painting I work with vivid oil colors to create a feeling of real space , I also use brushwork to shape the green dress in contrast to the textures in the room and the brown skin tones . I go deep in to showing you how to paint skin tones

I am a Norwegian artist and painter that creates YouTube videos about how to make oil painting. on this channel I manly focus on oil paint and how to use brushes , oil painting medium , oil colors , how to mix oil paint , how to use the palette :)

I am not a conceptual artist and my driving force for doing paintings is the personal challenge painting figurative gives me. As a painter with Artists like Rembrandt Turner Leonardo da Vinci and Jan Vermeer as my objective standard I will always have to push myself to get better In painting is where it get personal for me and where I reflect in results how successfully I have used my time and in the end my short existence in this infinite universe and time.
