In this painting lesson, I show you, how to paint the sky, how to paint the sea, how to build textures, . I show you how to use Retouching Varnish and Glaze and how to use the oil colors in general. Personally I use Old Holland oil colors and paint with thick paint brushstrokes to build the painting like the old masters did.
One has to use both thin glazes and thick impasto paint to build a feeling of 3D in a painting and to create a feeling of real depth.This landscape painting is done in an Impressionist style but I also is what I call micro Impressionism where I put the oil colors clean from the tube beside one another to create a illusion of the colors of nature and how light mixes oil colors when light hit the different objects in the landscape painting

My Focus as an Artist and painter is the paint itself and the aesthetics that evolves wile I transfer the motif on to the canvas. I am not a conceptual artist and my driving force for doing paintings is the personal challenge painting figurative gives me. As a painter with Artists like Rembrandt Turner Leonardo da Vinci and Jan Vermeer as my objective standard I will always have to push myself to get better In painting is where it get personal for me and where I reflect in results how successfully I have used my time and in the end my short existence in this infinite universe and time. On this channel, I manly focus on oil paint and how to use brushes, oil painting medium, oil colors, how to mix oil paint, how to use the palette :)
