Why am I flexing in the thumbnail? I don't know, just felt like it. Or maybe because this dish has a crazy high calorie and fat count. This is a breakfast that I love. I order biscuits and gravy when I go out to eat with a side of bacon and eggs and put it together. Everyone looks at me crazy. None have compared to this recipe! It's so delicious! Very simple to make. Give it a try! Ingredients and instructions below.

Ingredients

4 - 8 Pieces of Bacon
1 Package of breakfast sausage
Texas Toast
Milk
Flour
Butter
Salt
Pepper

Instructions

Heat butter in a large frying pan. Once melted, place Texas Toast on butter and toast each side to desired crispness. Set aside. In same pan cook the bacon over medium heat until desired crispness. Remove from pan but let as much grease drain back into the pan as possible. Set aside and let try. In same pan, add your breakfast sausage directly in the bacon grease. Careful, it will cook quickly in the grease. Continuously stab and stir the sausage until you get your desired size. Once sausage is cooked through, add enough flour to absorb most of the excess grease. Stir into the sausage until all gone and let cook for 2 minutes. Add your milk. *Add small amount at first and add more as needed. Stir together and add milk if you need it to be thinner. Bring to a quick boil, then lower heat and simmer until desired thickness is achieved. *Simmer at least 3-5 minutes. Once thickness is achieved, fry and egg in a separate frying pan. *Any type of egg prep you like works here. Now just time to plate. Add your Texas Toast, followed by the gravy. Crumble two pieces of bacon over the gravy. Finally, place the egg on top of it all. Enjoy!
