This isn't your traditional Chicken Korma. I had a school project to do using Amchur Powder so I figured I would try and incorporate it into my favorite Indian dish! I was pleasantly surprised how well the end product turned out.

Ingredients:
Cubed chicken (thighs or breast)
2 evenly cut unions
Garlic Clove
Cashew Nuts
Whole Yogurt
Turmeric Powder
Allspice
Chili Powder
Coriander Powder
Curry Powder
Garam Masala
Amchur Powder
Cream Cheese
Cardamon Seed
Cloves
Whole Black Peppercorns
Bay Leaf
Cinnamon Stick
Fresh Ginger
Salt
Cannola Oil/Olive Oil
In a saucepan, heat onions in oil until dark brown. About 10-15 minutes. Place in food processor or blender and add cashews, amchur powder and garlic clove. Blend until thick paste is formed. Add water if necessary.
In a mixing bowl, add yogurt, turmeric, allspice, chili powder, coriander powder, curry powder, garam masala and amchur powder. Mix well until smooth. Add cream cheese and continue to mix until smooth.
In same saucepan, heat oil, add cinnamon stick, bay leaf, cloves, black peppercorn, cardamon seed and toast for a few seconds. Add fresh ginger and cook a few more seconds. Add cubed chicken and brown on all sides. Add yogurt mix and onion paste, stir in well. Let cook over simmer 15-30 minutes and add water as necessary. Serve with rice and enjoy!
