Look, we are not behavioral specialists. The most we can boast about is being information specialists about everything and also about nothing in particular LOL. Conflict resolution is necessary for resolving issues that arise while working, especially within teams. But let’s refrain from making assumptions about a person‘s behavior. While, I would venture to say that our field is like 99% Type A 😅😭, we shouldn’t approach every necessary conversation with the preconceived notion that everyone has an oversized ego. I’ve come to realize that we all develop defense mechanisms and are protective about our craft. And while we can appreciate wanting to be the best we can possibly be, we have to also recognize that work place problems WILL arise. With that being said, if we need to resolve conflict with a teammate, let’s go into it with an open mind. No need to assume. Trust me, they’ll prove by their response to the conversation if your ASSumptions are correct. And you hear Beyonce in the background singing... cuz he gotta big egooooo 😂🤟🏽 .
