How to Get Rid of the "This effect requires GPU acceleration" warning in Premiere Pro
If you are editing a video in Premiere pro, and while adding an effect to a clip, the warning "This effect requires GPU acceleration" appears. you don't have to worry. The warning usually occurs when you insert a video clip directly, without creating and organizing the sequence.
To make the warning disappear, go to File in the menu. In the Renderer option, change it to "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Open CL). And then click OK.
