Such an amazing song these four youngsters from Liverpool were pulling off mid 1963. "It Won't Be Long" was recorded July 30, 1963, and released on British LP "With The Beatles," and American LP "Meet The Beatles!" The songs master tape was edited together with takes 17 and 21 including John's overdubbed lead vocals and George's ending guitar flourishes. Simply Incredible.
In our recording of "It Won't Be Long", which was final mixed in stereo, is panned mainly to the left channel as The Beatles almost entirely used the right channel for vocals during 1963. Mixed similarly to the album, John's rhythm guitar was turned down fairly low, and George's lead very profound with his overdubbed licks. We hope you are enjoying our journey of our instrumental covers of "Meet The Beatles!" Guess what's next!
