Quandongs seem to be one of those fruits you either love or dislike and apparently Tube-nosed Talia is the latter category.
Although her tubes danced manically she wasn't remotely interested eating any quandong flesh.
Found growing over much of Australia and resembling a beautiful dark blue marble, this vitamin C rich fruit is shall we say, an acquired taste.
Thanks so much to Vicki for sharing some frozen quandongs and although Talia turned her tubes up at them, our other flying-foxes in care are delighted.
