Black, Grey-headed and Spectacled flying-foxes have finished giving birth and it's now the Little Reds turn.
Rescued by Shelley up the north coast, baby Summer's mother was trapped on a barbed wire fence and sadly, she had tried to chew her way off the fence resulting in severe mouth damage which was not survivable.
Sweet Summer is doing well in care and I'll hand raise her before she is soft release with other mother raised Reds later this year.
