We are still enjoying few rescues and subsequent rehabs which is a huge relief after the intensity of the past four years.
Those in care are mainly young juveniles and barbed wire victims awaiting soft release or those facing months in care due to their injuries.
There is so much flowering and fruiting in the wild and hopes are high for a productive winter before orphan season begins again in October.
But in the meantime, life goes on with crunchy grapes and other enrichment to tide our charges over until their eventual release back to the wild.
