It's been a busy week in the House of Batzilla with two sick grandbabies and a few parental visits to hospital for the youngest.
With both of them now on the road to recovery it's time to breathe again and talk bats.
Baby Summer is doing pretty much what she should be doing at this age and it's really nice to see some tummy fur starting to grow.
With overnight temperatures getting down to 7 degrees celcius, Summer is warmly swaddled in a heated humidicrib.
Flying-fox rescues have been almost non existent which is just the best news and with so much local and regional flowering, we have high hopes for some time off over winter.
