The Birth and Death of a Huge Spinning Ice Disk in Finland.
In early January this year a beautiful and symmetrically round ice disk was formed in the small river Suonenjoki in central Finland. The previous time the same kind of totally round ice circle was seen in this same place was January, 2021. This time the disk didn’t freeze to a stop quite soon after it had got its round shape. As a matter fact, it kept spinning around – as can be seen in the video –for four days. (@kortsomasvili )
