Strange Lonely Autumn Dance of a Young Grey Heron - La Danse d’un Jeune Héron Cendré Seul
A week ago I witnessed a young grey heron performing a strange dance very similar to the courtship display typical of cranes. However, it was alone. There were no other grey herons around, so it had no visible reason to perform this short mating dance.
