Interviewing a Falcon About Its Language Skills, with English subtitles
The video was recorded at one shot: Nothing was added or removed afterwards. The bird on the video is an adult Eurasian hobby that had injured its left wing, obviously by hitting a power line. During a two-week treatment period in my care, it was checked twice by a vet. In addition, its wings were x-rayed once. According to the x-ray, there were no fractures in the bones of its wing, which means that the bird would therefore have good chances of flying again in the quite near future. At present, the bird is already at the Heinola Bird Garden, an establishment specialized in taking care of injured birds. There it will get the best possible care and will hopefully be back on its wings within a few weeks.
