How to Create Circular Text in Adobe Illustrator CC
In this video, I want to show you how to create circular text in Adobe Illustratorr. In this project, I have created a white background. To start with, create a new layer. Next step, use the Ellipse tool to create a circle. Hold down the shift key to create a perfect circle.
In the Fill option, I made it transparent, and in the stroke I used a thickness of 10 Px. Next step, copy the circle part. Reduce the size of the circle. Then I copy it once more so that it becomes 3 circles.
Make sure all the circles are in the center. Next step, use the Type on a Path Tool. After the tool is active, click on the circle that will be used as a reference for the text inputted. Change the font according to what you need.
Go to Type on Path, then select Type on a Path Option. In the Align to Path option, I choose Center. After that, type the text you want to add. If you want to rotate the text position, find the line on the circle, and then adjust the text position. In the paragraph settings, change it to center.
And so that the text position is at the top center, also set the opposite line. If the text looks upside down, then open the Type on a Path Option window again. Then check the Flip section. To add text at the bottom, we just need to copy it. Then rearrange its position.
After that, type the new text. Just like before, open the Type on a Path Option window, to flip the text display. If you want to change the font and some other settings, change them through the Character window.
