Oil & Water & Vision: How they help our businesses
Hello Everyone, I just wanted to take a quick moment to encourage you in your business. So many of you have become self-employed during this time and often there is no straight answer to what we see or hear, except faith. I wanted to use the analogy of my experience going to the doctor some years ago and how she told me that I needed to take care of the oil and water in my eyes to have good vision. As soon as she said that my mind switched to my spiritual vision.
Oil is spread on our eyes every time we blink and it holds the water in place to keep our eyes from drying out. The Meibomian Gland works perfectly for us to do this job in our eyes. The Oil and Water mix perfectly to form a sheath to protect our eyes and our vision. (Yes, oil and water do mix!)
We can use this as a spiritual analogy also to make sure we take care of our spiritual vision by washing ourselves in the Word of God, keeping our thoughts positive thoughts and applying the Holy Spirit (the oil)to our eyes to see long-range and with hope, into our wonderful futures.
