Better Than Cake? The 3-Ingredient Slovenian Strawberry Dessert

This simple fruit dessert is one of my favorite easy dessert recipes for summer, offering a sophisticated treat that's incredibly simple to prepare. Enjoy this quick and easy strawberry cream dessert!
🔹 Ingredients: 🔹
1kg / 2.2 lbs Fresh Strawberries
1 tbsp Sugar
60ml / ¼ cup Refošk (or a dry, high-acid red wine)
🔹 Preparation: 🔹
1.) Wash and dice 1kg of strawberries into small cubes.
2.) Place the berries in a bowl and toss with 1 tablespoon of sugar.
3.) Add 60ml (¼ cup) of wine.
4.) Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for a deeper color and richer flavor. Serve chilled on its own or over your favorite cake.
