AIRIS - Digital Painting Process
This is my new OC "Airis", a harpy sort of character for a new faction of my universe ITERATION. I started this painting way back in October 2022 thinking that I was going to let loose making a new character, but I ended up abandoning it because I really couldn't figure out what I wanted, especially struggling with my idea of combining this deep red color with and iridescent rainbow shine. In addition 2023 was the time where went down and quit art for several months anyway. However I picked it back up January this year and managed to make something I'm really proud of! Despite not doing much work in 2023, I have still improved with my skill enough to finally tackle this one. I think it's more or less what I was looking for back in 2022, though it was hard to actually visualize at that time. (About 4:04 is where all of my 2024 work on this starts.)
All of my Patreon members that pledge ADEPT tier and above before March will get the 4k version/PSD/normal speed process video. I've been getting a fair amount of commission work recently and it's a little hard to balance it with my original stuff, as both ventures are pretty important to me.
