Emperor Dragon - Digital Painting Process
Apparently I was flipping and moving the canvas around on this one a LOT more than usual. Super sorry about that lol (gets better around the halfway mark ;-;). This was much faster paced than usual, fitting in more details over a shorter period of time, so the video is actually slower than my usual timelapses lol (33x vs. usually 40-60x).
The is my 2nd legendary card artwork, a red Chinese style dragon, commissioned for the Kickstarter game "Mythos" the Zodiac series cards. I had a blast doing this one, though the bright red color and the light background that were requested felt a little difficult in addition to all the details on its face. This and Tengu (previous painting/video) were much faster paced than my usual work due to the client requesting a more sketchy/rough painted sort of look.
