I worked hard for everyone else.
I knew that I had wants and needs and goals.
But I was never the priority.
My journey with SMP has been one of transformation
Not just physically but mentally and emotionally.
I realised that I’d found my purpose
My community
My family
And the support that SMP offers is just insane.
Throughout my training, I have made the decision to get on stage.
And I honestly couldn’t have made that decision without the support and the love of my sisters.
Especially Hattie.
She has been my #1 supporter from the beginning.
I learned that
You have to put yourself first.
You have to be willing to sacrifice things.
And I didn’t have to feel guilty about that.
That has made me who I am now.
It has changed me for the better.
SMP has made me feel comfortable and confident in my own skin.
I feel happier.
I feel more successful in Myself.
I feel accepted.
I have completely jumped out of my comfort zone.
Thank you for creating SMP for girls like me who thought that they were a ‘nobody’, and now are a ‘somebody’.
And that’s through the love and support that you offer and share.
