HNEC regional conference to promote women's participation in elections
Experts gathered at the High National Elections Commission regional conference in Libya to promote women's participation in elections. This was the first time in 10 years that the HNEC has hosted such a gathering in Libya.
The conference addressed the obstacles hindering women's participation in elections and discussed ways to increase their representation, which is currently one of the lowest in the world.
