Between June and July 2023, Tatweer Research & Deraya hosted startup weekends in Tripoli, Benghazi, Sebha and Derna.
While Storm Daniel impacted programming focus in Derna, the talent of the Derna Entrepreneurs was evident and remains crucial to economic recovery and return to life in the city.
The events not only trained and empowered business-minded attendees across Libya but awarded 4 passionate teams with the opportunity to achieve their daring ambitions and ultimately become co-founders! Funded with thanks to the African Development Bank and European Union.
