In this video What is Current, What is Voltage and What is Power, and How they are related to with each other, Explained in simple manner with examples and derivations.

What is Current?
Electric current is defined as rate of flow of electric charge, means flow of a very large group of electrons,
Unit of current is Ampere(A), Current denoted by 'I',
The rate of flow of current depends upon the conductivity of material, and amount of external force or voltage applied,
Current flows from negative to positive direction,

What is Conventional current flow?
In some semiconductors depending upon the doping there can be positive charge carriers flows from positive to negative terminal it is called

How do you define Ampere?
If 1 coulomb of charge passing in a conductor in 1 second then we can say that it as 1 Ampere current.

Charge of electron = 1.6 * 10^19
1 coulomb = 6.241 * 10^18 electrons.

What is voltage?
Voltage is defined as the energy required to move a unit of charge from one location to another location.
Potential difference: The difference in potential energy of any two points in electrical circuit.
Unit of Voltage or Potential difference is Volt (V).
Volt: If 1 joule of energy required to move 1 coulomb of charge from negative to positive terminal then we can say that it as 1 volt,
The greater the voltage the greater its ability to move charge from one point to other point.

What is Power?
The rate at which energy is transferred or consumed in the system per unit time.
Power is denoted by 'P' measured in Watt (W),
Power 'P' = V * I
Power is either consumed or supplied to find out this we apply sign convention.
Sign Convention:
if the current is flowing into the positive terminal of an element then we can say that the element is consuming power,
If the current is flowing out of the positive terminal of an element then we can say that the element is supplying power.
