If you want to learn how to create an alarm in factory talk view studio this video is for you to create an alarm you should open the factory talk alarms and events area and right click on alarms and event setup open to create a new alarm a digital alarm it's just clicking on the new button digital it will open the configure alarm configuration digital alarm properties so we should give force a name call it as a alarm test the input tag we should point out within the controller what would be the alarm tag after selecting here you can define the condition if it is different of 0 or equal 0 as it's a digital alarm if it is latched or not if it's necessary acknowledgement from the operator if it's shown as a tag also define the severity i defined as 500 the minimum duration for one second for example two seconds define the message that's alarm you can define some associated tags define the alarm class if you have classes in your project define a factory tokyo command if it is appliable and a group as well if required with that we can just click ok and this new alarm was created we can save it so it's now saved it to the database on alarms and events and every every time this tag is different of zero it chewed alarm on the alarms and events banner is that important to duplicate we have this button here we can check the properties again by clicking on the properties button we can delete this alarm save again refresh after changes or check the help menu that's the overview on how to create an alarm within the factory talk view studio
