This session will demonstrate the implementation of immersive 360-degree videos and interactive virtual reality. These emerging technologies can be applied to address instructional weaknesses in engineering education. We have developed solutions to address student equipment training and challenges with outdoor physical laboratories. This session will cover the current technologies available, their limitations, and the outcomes we measured when studying their implementation. The lessons-learned apply to anyone considering implementing these technologies in their own classroom. Each of these technologies will be demonstrated, and participants will have the opportunity to ask technical or pedagogical questions about their implementation.
