Eggless Spice Mug Cake | Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe
This spice mug cake is eggless and is packed full of spices, dairy-free, and perfect when you want cake, but do not feel like baking a whole cake! Feel free to increase the spices, but I felt like these measurements were the perfect amount of spice. Spice cake is not complete without cream cheese frosting. However, this mug cake serving cream cheese frosting is not dairy free.
Ingredients
4 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp ground cloves
4 tbsp unsweetened applesauce
1/2 tsp vegetable oil
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Mug Cake Size Cream Cheese Frosting
2 tbsp block style cream cheese (room temperature)
1 1/2 tbsp confectioner sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Microwave for 60- 70 seconds or until the top is baked.
