Double30 BigBoy tests Smoothieboard / Due+RAMPS-FD Deltabot 3d Printer
This is the "BigBoy" sized Double30 under development. All Double30's use an all Misumi metal corner frame.
The first one is running a smoothieboard, has a standard kossel effector setup with a e3d v6 volcano and 0.8mm nozzle (awwww yeah). The same printer is testing the newer/cheaper printed motor mounts.
Shown briefly at the end is the same sized printer, but uses the all metal motor mounts and CNC cut corner plates. The effector is the CNC cut version of the (outrageously derivative)"Hi-Lee Effective" effector. The mainboard is Due+RAMPS-FD with eeprom running repetier 0.92.3. e3d v5 .5mm nozzle.
Both systems use a slightly modified airtripper extruder with mk8.
