Smoothieboard performance on Double30 BigBoy Deltabot
I must say I am impressed with the Smoothieboard. There are a few minor issues they are working on, but to me, the key issue are the results and smoothieboard has delivered that (gallery link at bottom). Printing something small to near perfection is easy, keeping up that level of performance for 24 hours or longer is a real challenge.

This printer is also testing the newer/cheaper printed motor mounts. And I must say they work out very well. Being able to drop the metal corner-plates will reduce labor and bring the cost down. This all misumi metal frame is 900mm tall and thanks to the metal corner pieces has zero wobble even at the very top. The wood on the side is what I use on the corners for a full enclosure, however they are mounted here to only to hold the LED's (and look nice).
