Yes that giant button/switch is super-glued....its only temporary until I find some better switches.
I've been playing with auto-leveling in Repetier lately.

After much failure and success that (at least for me) the main...sticking point (pun intended) are the switches. I started with a small switch from a salvaged roomba, I figured it would be durable. You can see that button here.
• Hotend mounted servo z-probe deltabot auto...
This button worked every time you test it, but about 1/3 of the probes you can tell were slow to trigger....we're talking microseconds, but you can see the effector move a smidge on bad probes. And the final result would be consistently slanted.
The next buttons I tried were the oldschool "cherry" microswtiches

This button worked like a champ, but I had to physically modify them, the metal lever pulled off, and any plastic sticking in the way of button pressing had to be trimmed off, and the button holes were too small for the screws I had, so I reamed them out. While this resulted in a perfect level every time (YAY!) unfortunately the modifications made the switches weak, some of them stopped working once those reamed out holes were filled with screws. no buenos.
Then I tried removing the micro-switches from some end-stop PCBs. they were nice and small, but worked the same as the switch I pulled from the roomba. worked well enough to think it worked, without actually working.
Lastly, I pulled another micro-switch from my arcade machine, though given its size I should call it a macro-switch. It is big and ugly, but it works as you can see in this video.
Next on my list is my smoothieboard system, they don't seem to support servos, so I am going to try out some FSR's. luckily no HBP on that system. I tried some removable probes as recommended, but I didn't like any of the designs I came up with, or was able to locate. Basically I don't want to have to attach and detach something every time I need to probe.
Only one of my printers needs an auto-level, the HBP on that one seems to find a new level every time you heat it up and cool it down. It was my first system with a HBP and the design was improved in the HBP in this video.
The rest of my printers don't need an auto-level or z correction, but I'm sick of manual tune every time I need to remove a build plate to work on the system.
