There are over 2 million freight cars rolling around North America, and it takes a sustained, multiyear effort for a graffiti writer to make their presence felt on this system from coast to coast. The dedication to the culture of freight train painting is undeniable. These G scale model trains were originally weathered for an authentic look by the experts from “The Weathering Shop.” They went on to be individually hand painted by some of America’s earliest prolific freight train painters, to now an expanding permanent collection featuring writers from the past 30 years.
